Knoxville, Tenn., March 20 - Purdue proved it belongs in the NCAA women's tournament with a 68-to-56 win over New Mexico. Erin Lawless had 22 points and Number Nine seed Purdue used its height advantage to defeat eighth-seeded New Mexico in the first round of the Philadelphia Regional.
